Doff Slug & Snail Killer 800g

Widely praised for beiong effective while also safe for bird, hedgehog, and pets when applied strictly according to label instructions. The most negative review is that while the product is "showerproof" it dissolved in "heavy rain".

The active ingredient is Ferric Phosphate which rather than dehydrate pests on the surface  damages the calcium metabolism in the slug's gut. After eating a minute amount of the bait, the pests rapidly lose their appetite, cease feeding on your plants, and return to their underground hiding places to die.
