Solution Strength Guide
For best results, always dissolve the crystals in hot water.
 Strength Ratio Best Used For
Mild

1 Tablespoon (20g) to 500ml water

 Water softening, light cleaning, wiping surfaces
Regular 1/2 Cup (100g) to 500ml water Washing clothes, cleaning bins, lifting floor stains.
Strong  1 Cup (200g) to 500ml water Degreasing ovens, unblocking drains, cleaning BBQs.
Core Housekeeping Uses
  • Washing Machine Maintenance: Add a regular dose to an empty hot cycle to dissolve limescale, remove built-up detergent gunk, and eliminate damp odours.
  • Unblocking Sinks and Drains: Pour a cup of raw crystals directly down the plug hole, let it sit, then flush thoroughly with boiling water to dissolve grease and organic debris.
  • Laundry Booster: Add a tablespoon alongside your regular detergent to soften hard water, which allows you to use less detergent while lifting tough fabric stains.
  • Outdoor Cleaning: Scrub a strong solution onto patios, driveways, and pathways to kill moss and clear slippery green slime safely.
Crucial Safety & Restrictions
  • Do not use on aluminium: Soda crystals chemically react with aluminium, causing severe discolouration and pitting.
  • Avoid sensitive surfaces: Do not apply to lacquered, varnished, or painted surfaces, as the high alkalinity can strip the finishes.
  • Skin & Eye Irritant: Causes serious eye irritation. Wear protective gloves if you have sensitive skin or are mixing highly concentrated solutions.
