We're confident in the "can opener" bit, that's a given. It's the "geared" we're unsure about. Apparently it multiplies your effort so it's easier for you to turn than a "non-geared" can opener would be. Anyway, it opens cans; probably more easily and safely than our "Traditional" Can Opener.
